What happens when ecosexual clowns take their desire to merge with nature seriously?
Seaweed slips out of mouths and stretches the limits of gag reflex; rock scratches tender buttocks; seals in wet suits obey their daddy of the sea.
In a series of open-air tableaux, four queer performer-creators forge an intimate relationship with the seaside ecosystem through sensory exploration.
La pointe mouillée is the fruit of an immersive residency that took place on the Haute-Gaspésie beach in the summer of 2024. The artists drew on their impulses and sense of play to co-create a goofy, poetic experience.
A performative and in situ work set in a magical setting, to be contemplated in front of the rising tide and the diving gannets.
