Le bouscueil, a solo project by sound artist Guillaume Campion, presents an comprovised sound nap, tailor-made for FURIES. Lasting 60 minutes, this immersive sound experience will be presented outdoors via a multi-channel sound system on the terrace of L’Hybride ㅡ café & bookstore. Through scripted improvisations, the work will draw listeners into a soothing soundscape, painting a dreamlike and impressionistic portrait of the soundscapes of Haute-Gaspésie, where ambient and instrumental sounds blend together. Listening stations will also be available to the public to delve deeper into the artist’s sonic universe.

Guillaume Campion is a composer and sound artist. Moving between music, spoken word, and soundscape, his works lie at the intersection of experimental music and sonic documentary. Deeply rooted in the landscape that shaped him, his practice draws its raw material from the sounds and textures of Haute-Gaspésie, exploring questions of identity and heritage through the interstices of territory and history.
Together with composer Guillaume Côté, he cofounded Trames, a collective dedicated to digital audio creation and the democratization of sound art. Since 2022, he has coordinated the Garage à musique at the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de la Haute-Gaspésie.
