Evening time on the beach, a mythical twenty-four legged herd activated by six performers invite you to join them for their beach-day-everyday. A very rare opportunity to observe the ponies in their natural environment. On the menu: sandy picnic, sacred naps, light swims, occult dances and general antics. David Attenborough would bite his socks off for the opportunity to describe it all.
In a world premiere at Marsoui, Pony-on-the-Sea offers you this unique opportunity to observe the fasciiiiiiiinating life of these fantastic creatures.

Audrée Lewka
Audrée likes banged up objects and shopping malls after hours. Her creative gestures start from said objects or from her friends.
Trained as a scenographer, ex-archaeologist with a childhood by the Laval red light of boulevard des Laurentides, her main tools are costume, space and light. As a creator and maîtresse d’oeuvre, she carried the projects Plaisirs partagés (co-created with David Emmanuel Jauniaux and Guillaume Létourneau, La Chapelle 2023), Poneyboyz (Danses Buissonnières 2018, OFFTA 2019, Chantiers constructions artistiques 2019), Dousse nuit (Tangente 2019) and PITCH (2021, co-production with Le Petit théâtre du Vieux Noranda
David Emmanuel Jauniaux
David Emmanuel has been playing with costumes since he was very young. He started by dressing up as Mama Dion in his living room to host a fictitious cooking show using his webcam. Then, as an avid LARPer, he became a dwarf from the depths, a king’s jester, a cursed elf. To date, David has done gymnastics, mime, theater school and a few dance performances. He almost systematically questions his relationship to himself in a state of play. Sometimes on TV, sometimes in film, but most often on stage, he tries to build a double of himself, one which he might one day become : a romanticized version of himself.
Guillaume Létourneau
Actor and sound designer, Guillaume Létourneau is interested in the different relationships between real audible sound and imaginary perceptible sound, the amalgamation of different acoustic signatures in the same listening space, as well as the reverberation effect as a sociological study. He loves glitches, misunderstandings and sudden irregularities in both performance and sound creation, because he likes everything to be not always intellectually reasonable, but intensely perceptible. In fact, the abuse of “intelligence” is an enemy. In his performances, regardless of the stage medium, he seeks a magnetic presence. Doing little, generating chaos, focusing attention.
